Welcome to the Livingston Conservation & Sports Association

lcsalogo.gifWelcome to the new website of the Livingston Conservation And Sports Association! Our club is located on 60+ acres in the heart of Livingston County, Michigan. We offer both indoor and outdoor archery facilities, a 50 and 100 yard rifle range, a trap and shotgun range, and a handgun shooting range including five IDPA pistol ranges. We are located at 8532 McClements Road, Brighton, MI, 48114 and our Clubhouse phone number is (810) 227-2917. 

Our certified instructors offer various training classes, such as NRA Basic Pistol and Personal Protection, Rifle, Shotgun, Reloading, Range Safety Officer, Hunter Safety and Certified Instructor.

Please stay and browse our website and come meet us in person at our monthly membership meetings or at various events held at the club throughout the year.

Check our calendar for current events and our membership meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the LC & SA Clubhouse.

If you are an existing member of LC & SA, please register . Registration allows you to access many portions of the website available only to LC & SA members.

 
Livingston County Kids Outdoor Fair 2008

1deer-med.jpg Once again the community of sportsmen has come together to promote the outdoor lifestyle.

The youngsters of Livingston County, and surrounding areas, are invited to the Livingston Conservation & Sports Association club for our Kids Outdoor Fair.

Children from 6-17 years old can come out and try shooting a bow and arrow, trap shooting, rifles, BB guns and, find buried treasure with a metal detectors.

Also, meet local Law Enforcement officers, Michigan DNR officers, as well as members of Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, National Wild Turkey Federation, Michigan Hawking Association, and local fishing experts, all in one place, and at NO CHARGE.

IDPA 2008

I'm Dave Johnson, Match Director here at LCSA. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Its 2008 and a new shooting season is beginning. I'm sure all the IDPA clubs here in Michigan can't wait to get some lead going down range.
Well, here at LCSA, our monthly matches are on the second Saturday of the month, April-October. We will have two classifiers and our ‘IDPA intro class'.  
Register for matches on our website at www.lcsa.info . Should you have any problems, e-mail me direct at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . I will verify your reservation via return e-mail. Please register for matches. I accommodate walk -ins the best I can, BUT, when squads are full, you will have to wait for next start time. So, register. If you can not attend a match you have registered for, Please cancel with me directly. This will enable the next shooter on the wait list to get into the match. We shoot rain or shine.
We will have five scenarios and in bay #5 we will continue with our unknown stage. Bring 100 plus rounds, eye and ear protection, proper equipment, a gun that works and  ‘safe gun handling skills'.  
Fee: First run (for ribbon) $20- LCSA members $10. Second and third runs $10.HandgunShooter.png
We have a concession stand with pop, water, hot dogs and hamburgers.
