On Saturday July 18 we held our annual grounds committee workday event. It was well attended by members and had great results! We were able to accomplish many tasks that have been accumulating. Pesky weeds, brush, tree limbs, and other branches were removed from the rifle range and pistol bays. These, including the east range have a fresh new look. A large amount of brush was removed thru out the club. Several other areas throughout the club have become overgrown and were also cleared. The main gate operator had maintenance done thanks Mike Yelen , Fresh paint was applied around the club house entry and it looks great!
Huge thanks to over 40 members who joined us for the work day! It was great to see you arrive, many with equipment from home, to help us out. Your efforts resulted in many improvements on multiple areas of the club grounds. Thank you to Mary Greene for building the list of participants and taking some great photos that captured the day perfectly. A special thank you Frank Dres for putting together lunch for the group to keep up our energy. And, a special thank you to Andy Laituri for leading the charge and keeping us on task to get things done. We appreciate all the members who participated in this workday. Thank you for helping to keep the club neat and well maintained for all of us to enjoy!
